All too often many believers have heard God speak through the prophet Jeremiah when He said … “for I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
It’s easy to articulate that, but in practical terms it is a formidable challenge for us for a couple of reasons. First, because it requires us to embrace something that has not yet been tangibly tested, nor materially manifested. But we know these things … because God has revealed them to us by His spirit. That’s why it takes faith … because it is invisible! It’s not yet in the realm of what we can see, and feel, and experience.
The 2nd challenge is that it is you who have been called upon to embrace it. You are the one being called to embrace the future God has designed. You are being called to step into it.
And lest I forget to mention that in that future are challenges, and setbacks, and frustrations. But that does not exempt us from stepping into it! So, be like those four men with leprosy that was written about in 2 Kings 7.
They decided that …
What was ahead of them was far better than what was behind them. They could SEE it!
They had not even begun to imagine what could be realized with their faith in God. Who would have thought that their blessings would come within the enemy’s camp? It was theirs for the taking, and they could SEIZE it!
God can (and will) do more than can be expected. They were on the verge of starvation and they were exiled to a place outside of the city, but God managed to supply them with an abundance of blessings!
Can you declare (like these men) that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE … WHEN YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT GOD?
You’ve got “nothing to lose”!
