CROP HUNGER WALK

SBCWheaton has been asked to participate in the 40th Annual Glen Ellyn/Wheaton Crop (Christian Rural Overseas Program)3 mile walk for Hunger. The 3-mile walk is Sunday May 5 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 515 S. Wheaton Ave, in Wheaton.  1pm check-in and walk states promptly at 2pm. While raising funds is a goal of the walk, participants and organizations are under no obligation to fundraise or donate – community fellowship is an equal priority!

‘Getting Your Affairs in Order’ Seminar

The Consolation and Care Ministry will host an educational seminar on April 20, 2024 at 1 PM

Elaine Gilman, Attorney from the law firm of Jill Daniels LLC.  will be the facilitator. She will provide information on wills, trusts, health & financial powers of attorney, probate court and more. Attorney Gillman will help you decide if a will or trust is right for you and answer your questions regarding protecting your assets.

This is a free seminar and is open to you, your family and friends.

Light refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the seminar

117th Church Anniversary

SBC will celebrate the 117th Church Anniversary on April 28th at the 10:15 am service.  Bishop James Stevenson the Senior Pastor of Greater Hope Baptist Ministries is the guest speaker.  Lunch will follow in the lower level.  Please mark your calendars and plan to join in on the celebration!
