Sip & Pray

The Intercessory Prayer Ministry is excited to announce the annual Sip & Pray event, and we would love for you to be there! This year’s theme is Persist in Praying, drawn from Luke 18:1. We will gather for food, fellowship, and spirit-filled encouragement for your prayer life with Christ. On Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. here at SBC of Wheaton in the Lower Level. Our Guest Speaker is Evangelist Maria Jones from New Community Baptist Church, Aurora, IL This is a free event, but registration is required. Registration will open June 15th and closes July 3rd — no registrations will be accepted after that date. We pray to see you there! Vacation Bible Study
July 13-16, 2026 | 6:30 – 8:00p
We invite you all to Vacation Bible School 2026 at Second Baptist Church of Wheaton! July 13 – July 16, 2026 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM each evening. Mark your calendars now for four (4) exciting evenings of faith, fun, learning, and fellowship! We encourage every church member to invite a guest especially young adults and youth—to come and experience this special time together. Registration will begin on Sunday, June 7th.
Food Pantry: July 18, 2026 | 10:00 – 12:00 pm
The Table of Grace Food Pantry will be open Saturday, July 18th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Registration is open. One registration per household and/or address. Registrants must pickup their own food; there are no deliveries. Bring your reusable SBC shopping bags. Ice Cream Social: July 19, 2026
What better way to enjoy the summer than with great people, good laughs, and plenty of ice cream! Join us for a fun-filled Ice Cream Social immediately following service on Sunday, July 19th. We will be fellowshipping outside, so don’t forget to bring your lawn chair! Come relax, connect, and enjoy the sweet taste of community with your SBC Wheaton family.
